I also do some work in the broader redistricting-adjacent issue of representation:

• I helped Benjamin Plener Cover adapt his MM2 idea to the US House of Representatives, by modeling various apportionment schemes in code.
• Along with Todd Proebsting, I helped write & publish posts in Election Mechanics in which, among other things, we tried to flesh out the salient issues in choosing a method for selecting the winner in Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) elections.
• I’m presently helping with the research for the Guinier Project.
